Hi. I am 24 and am about to go through my first overseas deployment. my DH and I have 4 kids total 2 which live with us. Our kids here are 5 & 2. I have been attached to the NAVY via the hubby for 3 years, 8 months, and 2 days. I love these type forums because I don't feel so lonely. The DH doesn't deploy a little while but we have been living apart Since October 14 :tears :unlove . We miss him so much it is unreal and I am actually ready for him to go already so that it will be over with. We have known about this since April and I am ready for all this to be a thing of the past.
I look forward to meeting all of you.:)

Hello and good luck with the deployment, you are actually lucky only one in three years. My gy has only been in for just under three and has two overseas and another schduled next fall.

I felt the exact same way when df and I were gearing up for his deployment, we had known since January and he finally left in November:tears it was almost a feeling of relief the day after he left because the count down to him coming home(L) could finally begin!!! Hope you enjoy the boards, and we all look forward to getting to know you too!
