Well, I just got back from visiting DF for the first time since he became my fiancee. We spent Thanksgiving in Washington D.C. It was AMAZING. When I landed on Thursday, I was soooo nervous: my heart was just pounding, I couldn't keep my feet still, and I know I was shaking. I went down the escalator and saw him from quite a ways off. Just the way he was sitting though, I knew it was him. I had to cover my mouth with my hand I was smiling so big! We saw a lot of sights and did a lot of cool things....there were a few things we didn't get to go see that I was wanting to see....but I got nearly 70 hours with my guy!! I could have sat in the hotel room and just looked at him and still have been just as happy! But it's so GREAT knowing that I have fallen in love with a man that makes it his main goal that I am protected, and that was very evident being in a large city. Not having any time with him at all for 4 months....I know that this weekend I fell in love with him all over again....and it reminded me how great it is to be with someone that you so thoroughly enjoy spending time with.
25 more days til I see him again! He has asked his mom if we could buy our own Christmas tree for his mom's house and make it our own, he told her he wanted it to be a surprise (haha, then he told me about it).
Thank God for sentimental men! Sorry for the gushing....I just had to share!
