Tonight, I was informed that Dean's grandmother had passed away in her sleep, from a seven month struggle with infections.
Her health has been a battle for awhile.
One week she would be near death, and the next she'd been screaming about someone stealing her wheelchair.
I only got to meet her once, when we both went down to Texas before his deployment. She was having a good week.
Just a week ago Dean places her back on DNR, cause he figured she'd much rather not fight anymore.
Dean called me tonight, to let me know she had passed. I could hardly him from all the tears.
You see, she was more then a grandmother to him. She was his Mother.
The ONLY female on earth that loved him, besides me and his children.
Dean's real parents are still around, but he refuses to have any ties with his biological mother because of things she's done to him in the past.
I so badly wish I could have helped him with his pain. He wants to come home so badly for the funeral, but we all know that isn't possible right now.
Dean knows shes in a better place now, with no more pain, and pain killers.
