My crockpot experiment for the day, I'll update you this evening with how it turns out :giggle

INGREDIENTS

* 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered or 1 lb red potatoes
* 1 onion, chopped
* 6 carrots, peeled and sliced into 1 inch pieces
* 2 pounds steak (either sirloin or round)
* 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
* 2 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 can beef broth
* salt and pepper to taste (about 1/4 tsp of both)

DIRECTIONS

1. Place the potatoes, onion, and carrots in slow cooker. Cut steak in half, then place on top of veggies. In a mixing bowl, combine the soup mix, soup, broth, salt and pepper and water; pour over beef.
2. Cover, and cook on Low for 7 to 10 hours.
