so i have a question about things that I CAN send to him in boot camp.... I talked to his recruter and well he did not say all that much... I asked can I send pics he said yes but he did not say not to send pics in my bday suit... I have kinda come to see that they will take them from him (thats kinda crap) so what if its a pic that you cant see anything but its still sassy?
Also does anyone have any good advice on things to spice my letters up? But not get him push ups or anything like that. I'm using fun paper but I dont think that its going to cut it... So if anyone has any good advice on fun things to send that he can have and if the pics are ok covered but sassy or if it looks like i dont have anything on? like from my sholders up kinda thing.

i wouldn't send anything you wouldn't want him to have to share with the whole division. that is just me though. i honestly wouldn't do anything or send anything that might draw attention to him.

no, no naked or sexy pictures. Their boxes and pictures etc are inspected in BCT to make sure they aren't receiving anything like that. :)

when my friend was in bootcamp, they had this thing called "the hog board" when the drill Sgt would put pictures that they would get and someitmes even read letters too. so if you dont want strangers seeing or reading anything, id be careful!

any letter that has any kind of picture in it will be opened and viewed by the DI's its standard procedure. sometimes even Sassy pics get vetoed my brother was in the Air force and his friend wasn't allowed to have a pic of his gf in her bathing suit. it all depends on who is there when they open the mail. I recommend fully clothed but cute poses. rule of thumb if you can't show your father the pic then you can't send it to bootcamp. HTH

I wouldn't send anything you're not comfortable with an enormous group of sex-deprived men looking at. EVERYONE will see pictures you send.

When my DH was in training, I made the mistake of writing in really large print on one of his letters "MIKE IS MY ULTIMATE SEX-GOD!" (kind of an inside joke, I guess) and his DS saw it, his eyes popped out, he took the letter, and read that to the entire company. Luckily it was good for a laugh (I even made his DS laugh apparently), but from then on out he was stuck with the nickname "Sex-god."

Just...be careful what you send.

Because the first one was in the wrong spot and I let her know that and then I let her know she could contact Brandi to have it removed so one could be put here in the right spot

Yeah, but there really wasn't a reason to post it twice.

And there really was no reason to ask her why she posted it twice or even make this remark after I told you why she did it. Is it that big of a deal. Like people dont double post on here all the time?

only send clean pics...when hubby was in they had to share pics that they got with everyone...I don't think you would want those passed around.

all she really had to do is wait for a mod to move it. Brandi moves posts every day... Alot of people use the "new post" feature. SO they're not going to miss it if she posts it in one place or another :dunno

If you would read the board once in a while (maybe you havent had a chance because you're new) - BRANDI or another moderator moves posts. I've also read in the past that people should not double post. But it still happens... because people don't read. NO, I'm not bored, I'm sick of people doing this crap. It's really old.

Holy shit, it was an accident and they've taken the steps to get it fixed. Get over yourself and go police your pets or something. I can't believe you'd be so rude over nothing. :rolleyes

YES I know it was an accident & there was no reason for you & everyone else to completely attack me for reminding people of forum guidelines. YES I am not a moderator, but this crap gets REALLY OLD after seeing it all the time.

Why the hell are you being so rude to ME?

I did receive the PM from her but I honestly didn't think it was that big of a deal since she acknowledged that it was a double post and was letting me know about it. I figured people would either answer or just let it fall back and not worry with it, and I knew it wouldn't be an issue b/c she's now aware of the forum structure and where to make the posts. It was one of her first posts so I just figured most people would take it at that and not be bothered by it.

I will lock the other post since it's a DP, and hopefully this one can get back onto topic. :)
