I changed my wedding date yesterday. A pretty big time change. And it's all because of:
a) This site.
b) Reality.
I have read about so many of you that didn't need a big wedding and I have seen so many of yall that just got married by a jp in a small ceremony. And I started thinking about it and was like "heck....that'd be a lot easier."
Then yesterday morning, I woke up and was like "Crap, I don't want to spend nearly 10,000 dollars on one day...and on other people! We could use that money ourselves!!"
Plus.....we all know there are no definites in the future with the military....mostly when it comes to dates, and dates on leave. I was really worried that he wouldn't be able to get leave on his own wedding date!
So, from April 26th, to December 29th....here we go! I'm excited...he's wanted it in December to begin with....and so now....it's just going to be me not going into meltdown mode! If yall have any ideas for me, now is the time to share. We are thinking just having family, and renting a banquet room somewhere in his hometown, which is central for all of the family. Decorating with white, silver, and red Christmas-like decor. Probably 50 people max which will just be family and a few friends.....
Yay for being spontaneous!
