Let me start off by saying that I LOVE THIS HOUSE! :D I REALLY hope we get it. It is a little farther out than we wanted to live but the rent is $200 cheaper because of it! It is also WAY cuter than any of the other houses we have looked at. So, cross your fingers for me ladies!!!!!!!!!!

I KNOW! I was AMAZED it was in our price range. Adam also talked to the guy about buying it and he said he would sell it to us if we were really interested. :lol With the housing market the way it is right now, and the location of the house in a growing area, it would be the perfect time! I want to live in it first before I consider that though. :P

It depends on the market, really. There are houses going up EVERYWHERE around here right now though, and with the housing collapse that makes for some great prices. I recently saw some new homes starting around $130K and going up to around $200K for 3-5 bedrooms anywhere between 1700 and 3600 sq. feet. It just depends on how far out of the city you are willing to live.

Renting is cheaper for us right now (until we repair a few things on our credit)... This house is only around $850 a month. :D

Not yet because we had to mail the application fee snail mail, so it takes a day or two to get there. Then he will run the credit check and junk. I'm not too worried about it. Adam did talk to the owner day before yesterday and his wife yesterday though. When he talked to the owner, he told Adam that we are the most responsible sounding couple he has had apply for any of his houses. :D When he talked to the owners wife, she knew exactly who we were and was very nice to Adam telling him they were happy we were applying, which I think is a good sign right? Why would he tell his wife about us unless he felt good about us?

As soon as I know I will post though, don't worry. ;)
