During my breaks and sometimes on weekends for the past 3 years, I work at a multi-site medical facility. I've worked in a handful of departments doing office work- internal medicine, pediatrics, telecommunications and for the past 2 summers medical records and transcription. I really love it there, and the pay is great.
Well, I have been in touch with HR there, telling them when I'll be available for Christmas break. I was just expecting for my same position as a medical records tech. They offered me a position in correspondence! I'll have way more responsibility..and...a pay increase!:cp
It's at a different location, about 20 minutes more of a commute:sigh, but it's definetly worth it. It's a solid 45 hours too, the 5 hours over 40 will be overtime. It's so perfect! I'm going to take that time off from my job at the police station since they don't need me during breaks typically.
