ok so we made a deal that each of us would loose a certain amount of weight before deployment was over and he has almost already lost it. UGH I have only lost like 5 pounds, I have lost inches but still UUURRRRGGG so today I got the splint off my ankle I am so totally going to hit the gym in the morning, no cardio obviously, but think good thoughts that I can make it through without my stupid ankle twisting. :tu

Me and DH made a bet on who would lose the most weight... well for him he wants to bulk up and I want to lose weight but we made the bet one who would reach the body goal first and I think we are even.
GOOD LUCK!

men lose weight faster than women. it's a sad fact of life. damn those muscles. I always joke with dh that I would be the only person to go on the ship for 6 months and gain weight. :teehee don't get discouraged inches are much better than weight.

DF just recently lost 10lbs in two weeks. i'm pissed... shouldn't be though since he earned it. working out like 3 times a day :pukey makes me sick
but dont worry about your goal... and if you've lost inches pay more attention to that!! weight really doesn't say much sometimes, muscle is heavy!

DF is the same way, it's a boy thing!! I'm hoping it's because i have less than 10lbs to lose, it's so much harder, my body is like "uh uh, no way, this is MINE!" :giggle
I've lost 4 so far, not too bad, i suppose.
Just keep working hard, i think the inches are more accurate than the scale. You're doing great! Keep up the good work and it's fun to have that motivation from your SO!!

Rod and I are going to start a bet as well when he goes on Surge. We won't base it on how many pounds, but the percentage lost according to our current weight, similar to Biggest Loser. He can lose 20 lbs and be nice and skinny, whereas if I lose 20 I still have 30 to go.

My DB and I started a competition when he elft for deployment. We have until March for his R n R to see who is in the best looking shape. It has nothing to do with weight. If there is debate we will ask a third party to help decide. I think I'm winning so far hehehehe....I have been working really hard!! Now I have to figure out what I want if I win...hmmmmmmm something fun and crazy. Any ideas??

The guys are always gonna win...faster metabolisms and haven't gone through childbirth! But DH has gained weight since being on deployment so we have lots of ideas on how we can both work the weight off ;)

SPA DAY ;) teehee he and I never actually talked about what the winner would get. I will have to think on that. I am thinking a new pair of fancy jeans.
I like the percentage thing...I wonder if he will go for an amendment to the completion HAHHAaa
Thanks guys, I will keep it up ;)
