Anybody know if the phones/email are down on the Truman? .. haven't heard ANYTHING from DH all day..and I always hear from him one way or the other. (He works weird hours and can call me lots...I'm lucky).

Today was a really hard day and it would've been great to have talked to him...our oldest started her preschool/daycare today. :sigh Guess I have just been lucky so far.

hmmm i got an email this morning at 4:30 am so like 10:30 their time...DH says the computers are locked up sometimes..whatever that means! Hope you hear from him soon!

i'm not mad or anything...just wanted to see if that's why he hadn't called/emailed. Like I said, I am lucky, I get to talk to him/email from him several times a day most of the time, so when I don't hear from him at all...

I heard everyone behaved themselves at least that is what they want us to think.

Ha. I live on base here in Naples and it was insane. There were sooo many freaking fights and everything going on.....I stayed as far away from the public areas as I could.

I taked to my DH yesterday and he said that the internet wasn't working and they are trying to get it back up again...which sucks cuz I sent him like a million pictures!! Boy I hope he gets them soon. And yes a phonecall would be nice today too.

DH works in the CAG (carrier air group/CVW3) staff that is over the whole air wing. I have no idea how much of the ship that is, or anything, but I guess his boss is a pretty "big-wig" guy. He (the big boss) said on Thanksgiving (we had dinner in Rome w/ the staff that was there) that up until that time he had been notified about a "handful" of incidents within the entire air wing. The usual he said, drinking and fighting incidents, one AW (female) ended up in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. There were three more days after that, so who knows what else happened. Usually the day/night before the last day, all hell breaks loose.

I just want their email to come back up. I had my big ultrasound yesterday, and I had so much to tell him (sent several emails). Makes me sad he can't even read about it on email because they have none. :sigh

Jeez it has not even been a month yet. You would think the rowdy ones could keep it together. It's not like they have been on for months and are finally let off the ship. A guess a few bad apples do spoil the bunch.
