I'm sorry hun. Try writing a letter to 3508 and ask him to let you know if he got it. And just let him vent to you. I'm sure there are always going to be immature guys who screw things up for everybody. I'm just sorry that he's gotta suffer the consequences.

I think if you put his ship # on it (same one as mine), it'll find its way there. And he wouldn't have gotten your letters by the time he wrote his. Dont worry, he'll get your letters. And if he doesn't, then my boy wont get his. In which case, we'll storm Great Lakes together and HAND them their letters.

Uhh..nothing is wrong with rap battles but there is a time and place for everything. and if you want your division to graduate on time but all they wanna do is sit in the corner and have freestyle sessions and make your division do rack drills for two hours because of it then everything wrong. :vent im want my babez to graduate on time.

yeah, during DFs basic, two guys tried to break into a drill sergeants office to get their mail (they were all being punished for something... ) and the two guys were in DFs squad (he was a squad leader)
i know DF HATED basic at first... even wanted to get OUT of the army all together because he was so unhappy... but then he was in a bit longer and started enjoying it and was HAPPY... his problem was just adjusting to being around different people in a completely new situation.

now at AIT.. well reception before AIT.. he is feeling the same again.. wants to get out... but its just because he isnt doing anything.. its all new.. and he is homesick for me. i know once classes start and he is actually working, he will come around again.

give him some time to adjust to everything and learn to deal with all the idiots around him.

my husband is probably one of the ones in basic rapping [army] but he also knows the time & place...some ppl try to have fun and amuse them selves so they dont get sad..i know thats what my DH is trying to do....dont let it bring you down..they cant keep him from grad. just cuz some other ppl are goofing off...theyll just keep those ppl behind...

I'm sorry girl. I hope it gets better. Def. respond to the address that his letter came from and possibly the address you already had. Some are bound to make it to him I would think. Oh, and the whole division will not be held back because of a few clowns. So don't worry about that. K, hun. :) My hubby just picked up his 6th division 2 days ago and none before that was the whole division held back from graduating because of some of the recruits. It will reflect on them as far as when and even if they graduate but not your bf so no worries. :) Good Luck hun.

That is crazy. If my hubby did that and someone found out he would have his ass handed to him. I believe he could lose his rope and possibly be knocked down in rate. They are required to feed them 3x a day. Be it a hot meal or a bagged meal. Which he does use the bagged meal from time to time to punish them but he would never ever not feed them.

my bf is in basic in GA and he has the same complaints! he is 26 and a lot of the guys are younger, but he says it is terrible! just keep writing to him and try to keep his spirits high, give him something to look forward to! Send him lots of pix and mine likes encouragement and cheer cards, so that's an idea.

You are right. I got my second letter today and he sounded like an complete opposite of the first letter. He sounded so proud and happy to be there. And he actually said PT was fun lol.

my bf had the same thing while he was in basic with the guys in his division but dont worry im sure the trouble makers will get weeded out and im sure he ill graduate on time dont worry about that.....and about the letters they will catch up with him eventually im sure of that....it will all work out i the end dont worry about that:hugs
