My boss had mentioned the other day that she would be doing my 90 day evaluation soon (which seemed a bit odd because it isn't actually due until January - but :dunno). This afternoon it got slow so she took the opportunity to get it done.
Anyway- it went GREAT! I was really glad to have this happen because I have been wanting some feedback on how I'm doing (I haven't heard anything bad, per say, but was just feeling a bit lost as to whether I was doing everything I am supposed to or not - KWIM?). So, here's the best part - I GOT A RAISE!!! It's *only* .50 an hour but considering I haven't even been in this position for 90 days yet AND I got a $1.00 an hour raise when I moved from my original position to this one (and that was only after being with them for three weeks to begin with!) I have actually gotten TWO raises for a total of $1.50 an hour in less than 90 days :cp
Also, we discussed cross-training on the various programs our organization has once we get through December when things start to slow down a bit. I am really excited about that because the more I know the more I can do. Oh, and there are a couple of seminars that they are wanting to send me to in the spring.
After being out of the workforce for 7 years and struggling through a frustrating job search to find this job I am loving this!
