1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tbsp butter or margarine, softened
1 lb dipping chocolate or confectioner's coating
(optional- graham cracker crumbs and some people used the crunchy peanut butter)
1. Stir together powdered sugar, peanut butter, and butter until well mixed. (graham cracker crumbs too if you use them)
2. Shape peanut butter mixture into 1 inch balls, placing them on a baking sheet covered w/ waxed paper.
3. Let balls stand for 20 min until dry.
4. Melt the dipping chocolate
5. Drop balls one at a time in melted chocolate. Using fork, remove them and let excess chocolate drip off.
6. Place back on waxed paper.
7. Let stand until dry.
8. Store tightly covered in a cool, dry place.
* After #2, I put them in the fridge for awhile b/c I found that after 20 min of drying, they weren't hard enough to put in chocolate.
* After #6, I put them back in the fridge to hardened.
