Anyone have this? How much does it cost? I am trying to sign up online, but it is saying that "electronics are coverered under your Homeowners or Renters policy subject to the provisions of the policy." But I was under the impression that computer insurance was additional. I am looking to have insurance for being dropped, stolen, damaged, etc...

TIA!

You can add computer insurance even if you are not a home owner. We had it and it was VERY cheap. Probably around $2-$4 every 6 months :puzz

Wow really? Do you know if there was a deductible, Shaky? Thanks for the help! :) :hugs

Oh I can't remember! I don't think so but I know I took it cause it was really worth it and cheap. Dh takes his laptop with him on deployment so I really wanted to make sure it was insured. It insured this PC and the laptop. If the monitor died, if I spelt something on it, etc...

Yeah, I already have insurance for the internal stuff (hard drive failure, screen problems, etc) but it doesn't cover accidental stuff like fire, theft, damage, etc. I'm going to call them tomorrow and set it up. Thanks Shaky! :hugs

I have my computers covered under my rental insurance. when our house flooded there was no deductible for just the computer. Lady was very nice, she looked it up and when she couldn't find it she went to walmart.com and found the middle price. we had the money in 48 hrs. I pay about 30$ a month for my renters.

I have computer insurance through USAA. It's only a few extra bucks a month, and it covers accidents like, if you spill something on your keyboard and fry it. I have the explanation of all itr covers, but I have to find it in my paperwork.
