So I have a question for you mommies.

How long after after you gave birth did you wait to have sex again?

After my first it was two weeks...DH couldnt get me off of him.

After Rhyann I wasnt interested because of her being in the NICU and was just too stressed to think about it.

We waited about 4-5 weeks... dh was going crazy :giggle

Breanna: over 8 weeks

Johnny and Evan: 5 weeks

Well Bailey is a little over 2 weeks old. Lets just say I helped Tony relieve some stress today and boy did it make me want to have sex so bad. But he wont give it to me....lol He said maybe tomorrow but he wants to look and make sure my stitches have dissolved first. So I agreed and I am soooo hoping I can get me some tomorrow. I figured I was abnormal to want it so quick...lol

I think I wanted it after 2 weeks, but held off until a couple days before my 4 wk checkup.

With my first it took me almost 4 months :wow I can't remember how long it took with my second but I'm pretty sure it was less than 4 months :D

Well I had a C-section so it didnt hurt down there....and I took me two weeks for DH to give in....:lmao

It was the six weeks waiting period. I would have gone longer but DH had that look in his eye:eek

I waited 2 weeks with all mine but I also never had any stitches so.....:shrug

I think as long as ur stitches are dissolved and u feel ready for it....have at it.

It will be uncomfortable at first tho.

I've always waited til after my 6 week check up. I can't imagine havin sex before then.

We only waited a couple weeks. Just until I was done bleeding.

I only had a couple stitches so I hope they are gone. I may break the mirrors out later and see if I can see them. I am not sore down there at all.

I waited the whole 6 wks and it was still painful, so I guess it just depends on how you're healing... :shrug

3 months. i had to wait for the 17 stictches inside to heal.

We waited barely 2 weeks with each of our kids! I think it is very normal.

we waited about 3.5 weeks...I had a c section and it felt uncomfortable so we waited a few days longer and tried again.

OK at least I am not feeling so weird now to be wanting it so early. I will have to see if I can persuade him to give me some tomorrow:twisted:blush

We did it about 4 weeks later. And it was sooooooo good! I swear the first time you have sex after having a baby, it was like everything was completely new inside and sooo sensitive to any stimulation. It wasnt uncomfortable at all, but I was really really nervous so it felt like my first time lol.

After my first it was forever because I wasnt seeing anyone at that time (his father bailed on me several months before) and after DD DH and I waited 4weeks.

He actually researched it online to see if it was actually OK to DTD before the 6week mark.

I was surprised but it didnt hurt. Of course I didnt tear like I did with DS so that could be why !

6 weeks...but it was still umcomfy. I was very tender, tight, and sore where my stitches had been. Felt like it was just gonna rip all over again. Took me a long tiem to get over that. Sometimes even now, I get sore on the "seam" part and its been 4 years!! lol

Despite doctors orders, we only waited 2 weeks like so many others.

my doctor told me there is no waiting period "but your own" she said when you feel ready to get back at it you can. We waited about 5 weeks and did it but wow didn't feel the best but I wanted it after a week BADLY but we can't afford another baby and by 6 weeks and I got my mirena we are acting like young teenagers again :lol

With the first one week, with the second it was ten days (he was gone, so we HAD to wait), with my daughter it was longer as he had the Big Snip the day after I got home from the hospital.

with my first i waited about 4 and half months ( he was on deployment) with 2 & 3 i think we waited the whole 6 weeks or more. by the time number three came around I was too damn tired to really want sex at all. :giggle

3 months but that's when DH got home from Iraq. If he'd been home we would have the second the Doctor gave him the okay if he had it his way.

Honestly, it took me 6 months to be able to have sex again; it was just too painful for me. I had a normal, natural birth but with a few stitches on the side.

Well it went great! No pain, no tenderness. I am so freaking glad!
