We had him on his blankie on his tummy and he pushes himself up on his arms and holds his head up and he almost rolled himself over.

Im curious, is he behind for his age, should he be rolling over and such right now?

i know, it's just that there's such a range of "normal" and babies develop at different rates and such...that's why i've never compared my kids with books or other kids; that way i won't be disappointed or worried that mine isn't "up to par" or think that they're "ahead of the game" -- but rather just be happy that she's healthy and active :D

He was just goin nuts laying on the couch with his karate hands and legs...So we put him on his belly, he only likes it fora few minutes...we also gave him some toys, he holds on to them for like a second..I hope he plays soon!

Sounds perfectly normal to me! Enjoy this time with him, before you know it he'll be EVERYWHERE and then nothing is sacred! :lol

I think the average for rolling is around 3 months.

my nephew rolled over at around 2 months (if memory serves) I always made my kids do lots of belly time, they all hated it, but it's good for them.
