I could have sworn I saw a little holder for pacis but for the life of me I can not find it now. I want to boil a paci and put in her bag for the hospital but i dont just want to throw it in there to get all dirty. I thought I saw something that holds them. :dunno Any ideas ? What did you do ?

I guess you could go to Target and see if they have one.
I didn't take a paci to the hospital. Dd didn't really want one anyway. She's a thumbsucker! lol!

Also I think that they have them at the hospital if you want one

They have them at Wal-Mart and target for sure. it's a bit of fabric with a velcro closure on one end and then a flexible plastic ring on the other end which you attach around the back of the paci. I LOVED mine. I think MAMS makes one of them. Target has a Winnie the Pooh one with an actual clip too if you prefer. They're pretty inexpensive.

Babies R Us sells them I think.

My diaper bag came with one. I never used it since DD didn't use a paci though..

This is kinda cool. It's a Pacifier Rinser.

That being said, are you looking for something that holds it, but not to be attached to her outfit?

I love the plastic ones that have little pices that snap in the two holes on the sides of the pacis...they are at target and babiesrus.

Thats what I was talking about or something similar. Thanks :D

*** I went the cheap route and put one in a zip lock bag. :)
I may go buy one later once I found out if she is even going to use a paci.

I dont know about you hospital but the hospital where DD was born had a NO pacci rule for breastfed babies so we were never given one. I took my own MAM, Soothies and Gerber ones in a tpperware container.
When we go anywhere I usually keep them in a pocket of the diaper bag or in a small tupperware continer.

we brought our own too and they never offered us either....I think at ours we had to ask oursevles for it and of course the LC gave a lecture on it :rolleyes. So Yeah I agree you should just bring your own everything.

I've seen them too!!! But any small container will work. If you use a little tupperware type thing, tht will do just fine! Ooh! THat or those disposable Ziploc containers, they have little ones that are nice and inexpensive!!! (So if you are like me and lose one, its not a major deal!)

They also have paci's now that have this sort of "cover" that collapses around the nipple part when taken out of the mouth. Help protect in when it is in a bag, as well as closes around it before it hits the floor should it fall out of a baby's mouth. Let me find a site that has them.
