I've been in Virginia Beach for about a year and a half. I'm moving to Norfolk (to be in military housing) next week! Shannon is based in Norfolk on the USS Enterprise.

I don't know anybody else down here. I know one other girl that has a boyfriend on the Enterprise but she's in Chicago (she is planning on moving down here next year!). I would love to meet some nice miltiary ladies! I hope to get to know you all a bit better!

My husband is an officer candidate at ODU. I REALLY miss a family oriented command....
Since the ROTC unit isn't very family oriented, I feel like we're a civilian family!!!!

I'm moving into Castle Acres, Kris. What one are you in? Castle Acres is the smallest one out of the housing we qualified for but it was closest to base, the NEX and the commissary. So, location won out over square footage. I'm a bit scared of it because I'm losing 200 square feet when I move in there next week. BUT, I am gaining an extra bedroom, so I hope that it works out. I'm really excited and I can't wait anyway. I really dislike my current apartment (mostly the neighbors, the thin walls and the rental office for not abiding by their lease to violaters).

I live in Norwich Mannor... right behind you!!!!!!!!!!WOOHOO We will have to hook up and hang out!!!! I am in one of the 3 bedroom handicap units. The management is really nice here, so far the people have been nice. They have their good matenence (sp?) guys and the bad ones... I have the hook up where I get one guy who comes out to fix everything and makes sure everything is done right!!

Yeah we got in on an emergency move, it is not normal but I am not complaining dh and I are going to have a blast here. I already registered for my classes at ODU, I am going to be in the Human Services field what are you going for? You can do that online you know, it might help with getting things done! If you need any help let me know, although I am going kinda crazy with finials (I am trying to graduate from TCC)

I'm going for Art Education and Art History! I don't think I can do all that online! LOL. I miss school. I went to school in Pittsburgh before moving down here.

They can keep my cat entertained! LOL. He's playful and sometimes he plays a little rough but if theres a bunch of kids playing with all his toys, they should wear him out pretty fast! LOL.
