It stopped raining here at Bangor and I'd like to venture out to the gym on base and maybe even Target...anyone been on the roads to give me an idea of how they are?

Thanks, I think I'm going to call the gym before I go to make sure it's open...if it's not too bad going up there, I may run to Target since there aren't any "low" spots on the way for water to be in the way.

I think I am gonna try and venture out as well... this kids need to get out for a bit (so do I) and I need to pick up a few things... I am SO happy to see the dang sun!!!

I don't know. I know that DB made it to the ship this morning cause he didn't come home like he said he would if the road was flooded

all the roads are pretty clear. i don't know about base though. i do know that newberry hill exit is a huge flood and the exit is blocked off. and downtown silverdale is also blocked off. But everywhere else that i know of is okay. Be careful and just do what the street signs say. you should be fine.

The gym is open. The roads on base seem ok from what I've seen. Not sure about target but I have to venture up to walmart tonight so hopefully thats ok.

Yeah, I went to the gym...base was fine and so was the way to Target, it was nice to get out a little bit, but I wasn't risking much more than that. I didn't have anything urgent to do. I hope everything gets back to normal quickly.
