Does anyone use it?

I want to make cookies for Santa from DS but since DH is a diabetic, I want to help cut back on the sugar.

Does it make the cookies taste different?

It has replaced all sugar (sans brown) in our house and I never can tell the difference.

Where do you guys buy big bags of it, like maybe at a costco or sams?

Also has anyone used the brown sugar one?

It measures cup for cp to sugar. I use it. I don't bake to much with it. I think I am doing something qrong because. the taste is fine but the texture is different. I know the splenda website has recepies.

really, when I read the outside of the box it said it was different. Like 1 packet of splenda equaled 3 of regular sugar or something like that

My DH is really picky as well. But he never noticed until i told him. SO hopefully your DH will be the same way. Just dont tell him at first! ;)

Make sure you use the baking blend...the straight splenda made my cookies taste chemically...

My bag says cup to cup. Maybe it's a different kind.

I only use Splenda. It tastes the same to me. Someone on here posted a Splenda thread (was it Shaky?? argh) anyhow I always thought it was cup for cup and the conversion is different. Make sure you find out what that is on www.splenda.com if they have a chart and if you sent cookies overseas (food save it, air vacum) and they do real well traveling.

I have not tried the brown sugar one....now I am going to have to!! The regular blend is cup for cup the BAKING blend is 1/2 of whatever sugar is called for.
