Sorry, I hate the bloody website...

But I know it's first come, first serve, and last year they wouldn't submit them until the end of January. When is the absolute earliest you can submit this year, anybody know? I'll be pissed if I miss it!

It's usually in the new year.. I always do it in January. :dunno The first come first serve is not literal, just that all people that do it before the priority deadline will have precendence over those who do them late or in the fall or spring quarters, or at least that has been my experience at the 3092832908 schools I have been to! :lol

Actually I found this online and it said the same thing on a few sites I went to, so it sounds like that's the story! :)

The FAFSA can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as possible after January 1st of the year for which you are requesting aid.

i have always been told you can begin submitting jan 1st, so that's when i always do it. until march 31st or 1st or something. i hate doing it tho!

My suggestion is to use your Dec pay stubs or les to fill it out and then choose "will file". This is what financial aid told me to do so there would be no issue about "first come first serve"! Good Luck!

I'm such a doof too. I just looked and was thinking that 2007-2008 was NEXT year not THIS year. :rolleyes :duh Scary to think that next year is already 2008-2009. I dunno that I'm ready for 2008 yet!
