I need to pick a topic within these guidelines: You are to pick out a topic about child psychology and/or child development.

I will also have to have 8 sources: 2 internet, 2 from books, newspapers, etc, 4 from scholarly journals. It also has to be a minimum of 8 pages.

Hmmm, you could do the stages of play, that would be pretty easy to write a paper about...as a matter of fact I think I've written a paper on it, lol.

I'm not sure if you have any children in the neighborhood or any friends children that you could do a case study with? I did case studies involving a 1 year old, a 4 year old, a 9 year old and an 11 year old. Individually, I took them out to lunch, played games with them, etc. I then wrote the paper on motor skills and how it relates to the "average" development of children that age.

I also tied in theories and information from the text book I used at the time. I know there is more. I wish I could remember more about it, it was so long ago.

i was thinking something like "effects of the media on childhood developmental stages" but i dunno.
