how are you packaging your cookies?

I have containers I use for cupcakes and stuff.

I'm using the rectangular Ziploc containers to transport all the cookies in. :)

but are you leaving your packaging there? sounds silly, but i only have one large tupperware thing so i cant really give it away. are zip lock bags ok? i'v enever done a cookie exchange, im a little :puzz about how it really works....

The way I've done is other folks take cookies from your container and put it into theirs to take home or to eat on location. :D I'm not gonna play "den-monther" and package them all nice and neat, although that thought did cross my mind when at Dollar Tree..LMAO!!!

I need to take mine home with me because I need to use it for another party. I am sure I can leave leftovers in a ziplock or something.

Someone clarify something for me...We're only bringing one dozen cookies each, right?

Michelle, I'm making close to 2 dozen, because I have a feeling that 1 dozen wouldn't be enough with my husband in tow and all...LOL! I'm trying to bring enough for each person to try. :) I'm also going to bring printed recipes of the cookies I bring.

I have about a dozen of one kind and over two dozen of the other...I have a lot of leftover foil roasting pans (I needed them for other things) and I'm just bringing that with the cookies in there. Nothing fancy this time. :lol

I made a batch yesterday, but after Bryan ate a few, I know only a dozen wasn't going to be enough. So I made batch #2 this afternoon. :) My house smells so good!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't even think to take photos of my cookies. Better go do that now while my camera is still in the kitchen. :)

Taking pictures of cookies is just something I do, mostly for the business aspect with my sugar cookies. Because of that, I tend to take pictures of all things I bake. :lol

Eventually. I did for awhile, but stopped charging people. Typically I bake sugar cookies though, or rather those are the ones I was selling. I'll go back to doing that once my youngest starts school in a couple years. For now I do it out of the goodness of my heart, unless someone orders a bunch. :lol
