good, no longer live in philly, but grew up in the norhern 'burbs and lived in philly in college. now im in VA. what part of philly are you??

im from north philly .... it was funny one day some guy said is it scary in that part cuz my mom said u can see ppl get shot i was like no not all the time and the 15 years i lived here i havent seen one person get shot thank god

philly will always have a special place in my heart. yeah there are some really terrible areas, but when you know your way around, it has ALOT to offer. i'm a brat and grew up in the spoiled 'burbs & didnt have to deal with the dirty areas. took the train to center city/olde city/fairmont/south street and usurped philly's grande ol' areas.

my hubby grew up in north philly, olney area.

wow really thats cool i went to olney hight school .. but yeah ur right some parts are dirty but the city is ok

my dh went to cardinal dougherty. :thumbsup
