So I just got an email from my husband. A few weeks ago his friend on the ship had to get sent home because his wife was hit by a car. Her car broke down and she was trying to get to a gas station. Someone ran her over and just drove off and left her on the side of the road. She was in bad shape but they said she'd be ok. She had 2 broken arms, a broken leg, and head injuries...She passed away last night sometime :tears
This was the guy that my husband hung out with when they were in port cause neither of them drink and they don't want to be around other people like that. They walk around and take pictures to send back home to their families... This guy was so in love with his wife he was always talking about her to my husband. And giving him all sorts of martial advice. I guess she was a really sweet lady and had alot going for her. Can everyone please pray for her and her husband, he's going to be a mess :tears

She was his reason for everything...

We just moved from that area of VA. The roads out there are crazy! I-64, you take you life in you hands just driving it nevermind trying to change a tire or something. Ladies, I know we can do anything and can take care of what needs to be taken care of but please, be careful. Not everyone is looking out for you.

Oh my goodness...I can't imagine the pain he is going through. My prayers are with all of you guys. I pray God would be able to give him peace through this...

I just want to say that I havent been able to get them off my mind all day...and my husband is freaking out cause he hasn't even talked to the guy (he's back in the states, they flew him home)...and I just want him to be ok...as ok as he can be. They were so young and so in love that it's so heart breaking, everyone... is upset... and he's all alone now. I seriously have NO idea what to do--if there is anything I can do. I just hope he can make it through this.
