Hey guys...dont know if this is true but my DH told me this morning that tomorrow they are supposed to get 15,000 pounds of mail in on the Truman!!! I hope this is true..and I hope this means they will be getting some long awaited packages!! :cp

If the only way they are going to get mail is to have, whatever it was you said, then the guys should start throwing food off the ship when they haven't rec'd mail in a while.

That's true.. everything does go to the Carriers first and then disburses out to the smaller ships in the battle group.

there could have been other reasons for not getting mail. Maybe they were steaming it somewhere or there wasn't time or space for mail, sadly mail is a low priority when things fly in. Either way I sure hope they get their christmas stuff soon!!!

Yup, it is true. My husband is a PC and they started getting their mail in yesterday (Tuesday).

My hubby got all 5 carepackages i was so happy! his last ship did nothing unreps. he was on a fast action support ship also known as AOE's they actually do a lot of htem but mail doesn't get tot he other ships unless his last ship hit port and picked up the mail.

He should be expecting 6 packages, and ALOT of cards and letters. oh yeah, I just remembered this morning that I ordered him one ofthose military coins from army.. com they sent it directly to him so he is totally unexpecting that one.. I hope so too. I hope they ALL get their mail... the waiting is killing me, he said it usually take atleast a day to get to his ship and he confirmed that mail is coming in, just not to him yet...

He got my packages yesss!!! And the cookie bars I sent 3 weeks ago were still good! woohooo!!! I sent him a uhhh "special" video on the 13th of Nov. and he never got it..but I sent something the 30th and he got it! I sure hope that didn't get into the wrong hands oooo man that would be embarrassing! ahhh!!!

I am so happy for you that he got his package. I hope the video makes it to only him soon. wow that would be terrible. so I should be hearing something by tomorrow then? I will keep my fingers crossed. I am so excited for you.:)

I'm pretty sure of the mail drop! My husband is in the Truman's fleet (or whatever it's called) and they are due for a mail drop tomorrow! WHOO HOO!!
