Was it terrible because of the acting, script or any of that stuff or because it hit so close to home?

I generallly enjoy that type of movie but won't watch them this close to a deployment or while DH is gone.

It was actually a really, really, REALLY good movie. I love "war/military" movies - but it just hit really close to home and there's a scene where an explosion happens and it was just a huge :wow moment because it's the reality that I haven't been exposed to but is everyday life for the men & women overseas..

That movie was so amazing! I am Social Work Major with a focus on PTSD; I have recommened to everyone I know. It shows EVERY sign and symptom of PTSD (a little over the top though) but I think it's a MUST-RENT for everyone now that we're going to have to start dealing with vets once they are home!

I've never seen it but DB got it a few weeks before he deployed. He said it was good but I shouldn't watch it. He knows that movies like that will just make me worry.
