I just tell dh that I am feeling a little lonely and need "a little extra" right no and ask him if he gets a chance to send me a little email it would make me feel a lot better.

I just tell em lol. I hate giving hints I rather just let him know. I know sometimes when people give me hints I just don't get it lol so I don't expect my DH to just "know" so I tell him. I would say "hunny I love it when you write me emails and letters so yeah uh write more thanks." :lol

i just tell him too...im honest with everything when it comes to that...he can usually hear it in my voice when im feeling a little extra needy
