Ad he sounded SO happy when he was telling me about it. This makes me so happy that I can do something that brightens up his day.... poor thing.... I am about to get started putting stuff together for his second one. It got there really quickly too... in 5 days! :D

:teehee I sent my DB a package on Nov.30th (only like a week and a half ago) and he called me on monday asking me "are you SURE you put the right address on?!" lol. I told him i was SURE i put the right address on. When I sent a friend a package while he was deployed to iraq, it took like 2 weeks to get there. lol. it's always so exciting when they sound so happy. :D

I think how fast it gets there depends on where they are. I have a friend who sent her boyfriend in Iraq a package and it got there in less than a week but I sent DB a package about 2 weeks ago and he still hasn't gotten it.:dunno

I am so happy for you that he got your package. I wil say it .... I am jelous, my DH is on a ship so it takes forever to get to him but like you, I am just excited about how it will make him happy.... knowing that we love them and WE are the ones "taking care of them" even thousands a miles away....

My DH just recieved his yesterday! He was very excited to get it. He was the first in his squadron to get one :)
I gave him some christmas decorations he could put up in his shop. Snowflakes and such, I sent him all the Home alone videos, and one of those flameless candles, in cinn. apple... he put it in his room and loves it! Says his room smells like home.
I am so happy i could put a smile on his face. I miss that booger :(

Next package(s) will be christmas gifts.

now that DH gets packages from adopt a soldier, i feel like i am not needed anymore!!!

he says he loves my packages, but i bet he's just like "great ANOTHER package"

Its wonderful to hear that he is liking what I send. I sent out my last one Monday...yea, ya all know what that means!

I put all kinds of treats in there for him. Candies, cookies, chips, sunflower seeds, beef jerky. This time is was only snack items. His room mate is gone on his R & R so I am pretty sure that everything will be gone by the time he gets back. :lol

The next care package will be more media related with a few snacks thrown is as well. :)

I love what we get to do girls! We are what keep those men going over there. Don't you ever forget it! :D

Mine got a big one from me today. He was really happy about it and loved the cards the kids made for him. I was starting to get worried because it had a psp in it.

I sent mine out on sat. So we'll see when he gets it. I packed it full of snacks and games. I hope it will brighten up his day. I know the men need it out there :(
