I just want to lay down in my bed, curl up in the fetal position, and start sobbing. The only reason I havent is because I dont want to freak out my roomie. I miss DB so much more than usual today! I guess not hearing from him for a while has taken its toll. He sent me an email saying "...Good luck with the recruiter, cant send you a birthday or christmas present right now because my card is frozen..." and thats the most I've heard in over a week. At least I know he is ok now, but I still have a Hole where my heart should be right now.

The important part is you KNOW he is OK and the whole in your heart is normal.

Cry girl, who cares if your room mate freaks out. She will understand or learn to understand. You might be surprised, she may be very supportive and be a leaning post when you need it.

If all else fails you have us.

Roomie is a guy. A very... um... "emotionally challenged" guy. Lol.

I agree, sometimes its good to cry! Sometimes people don't understand, but they aren't going through a deployment.
