So the thread on Patrick Dempsy made me wonder if anyone here has met a celeb.





I have met Bill Gates at a Microsoft picnic back in 1988 before he was well known. My cousin worked there. I was only 17 and thought he was the nerdiest looking guy in my life and had no idea who he was or would be.
I also met George McFarland, he lived in my hometown so I saw him around all the time. He was Spanky in the Little Rascals series from the 20's.

I went to school with John Elways daughter :dunno when I was in like 2nd grade. haha... but we never like "hung out.." oh well...

I've always wanted to meet russel crowe....

I met and partied with Dave Attell of comedy central and the show Insomniac. he bought us drinks all night at a bar in Grenwich Village.

I met Kevin Spacey and the guy that played Mark in the original RENT and the movie. And if you count reality TV I know Ashli from the Real World but she is definitely not a celebrity

LOL, that reminds me, I went to school with one of Dolly Parton's neices. She had the boob gene and had boobs in 3rd grade!!! I also went to school with a cousin of Lisa Welchel.

I shook hands with Keanu Reeves the summer before Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure came out he played the Jester in Shakespear's The Tempest at Shakespear and Co in Lenox MA. He was hot even when he was young and not a celeb yet! (he's one of those guys who prob should never open his mouth tho) I also worked reservations at a high end Spa and once spoke on the phone to Rockelle Welsh when she had a special request for her room. At the same spa I saw Paul Newman who is really really short!! And I never met him but when I student taught I had John Lithgow's nephew in my class and he sent me a headshot wishing me luck as a teacher :-) wow not a bad list huh?

I met Bill Elliot when he came to McDonalds to sign autographs. I don't remember it too much, I just remember standing in line forever in the cold to get his autograph and then my dad taking a pic with him.

I've met James Brown, Lou Ferrigno, Good Charolette, Carlie Robison, Lee Greenwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, Josh Turner, and a few more...I haven't met Mark Wills yet, but my dad is really good friends with him, I can't wait to meet him!

um, I've met Evan Farmer (from 2Gether and While you were out)
Chayse Dakota from while you were out
and jason the carpenter and ally the woman "carpenter" :lol

yeah, that about sums it up probably, other than like sports people who i have met to get autographs by the dugout as a kid, no one especially famous though.

Hmm...the President, of course he wasn't the president at the time, just the VP son...LOL. Marsha Brady, at Disneyland when I was a kid. Barry Williams, who was Greg Brady, when he came to do a flight with the Blue Angels while hubby was in the squadron. I took my kids with me and they had a hard time believing it was the same guy because he was so much older....LOL.
My husband and I have a good friend that is a semi-celebrity. His name is Dennis Haskins and played Mr. Belding on "Saved By the Bell".
Rodney has met all kinds of people while in the Navy through various events, i.e. The Blue Angels gave them the opportunity to meet all kinds of people.
When at Diego Garcia a few years ago he hung out with Gary Sinise.

i've met Phil Vassar and hung out with his band a few times. Through work i've met Andy Griggs, John Michael Montgomery, and Heather from Rock of Love (haha i was way excited about that).
i have met a ton of athletes at school too. AJ Hawk, Teddy Ginn, ect. i had classes with alot of them :)

Umm does Lee Goff, the inspiration for Gil Grissom, count as a celebrity? I've met a lot of authors... But I'm not sure exactly what category of celeb that is..

Oh I also met Clinton, Janet Reno... and Charlie Sheen once..

Ive met Demi Moore, and Marie Osmond (my aunt was a well known doll maker so met both of them at a huge show) And when I was little we were in an antique shop and June Carter Cash was there but I had no idea who that was at the time. I just knew my parents were excited about it, and I remember them loving her car and that her license plate said "CASH"...which at the time I thought meant she was super rich or something LOL

When I flew home for my baby shower, Dakota Fanning was on my flight.

I met Bucky Covington at the Nashville airport a couple years ago. We were sitting next to each other, and I kept thinking, "What a pussy looking pretty boy...His gold sunglasses match his little girly gold bracelet... I wonder who does his hair, those highlights are gorgeous."

I met some members of the Charlotte Hornets (when they were still around)

Hawthorne Heights (one of the members just passed away a few weeks ago), Avenged Sevenfold, Trapt, Sum41...bands.

That's the celebs I've met.

awww I wish I had good stories. I have only met Hanson and Christina Agularia. Both on a plane... Tho Christina was a real sweetie...(please take in the sarcasm.)

DH has met John Popper. Delilah and a couple of other people. Me, I got nothing.
