It happened yesterday, so I am not sure who knows about it yet.

3/7 infantry suffered the loss of SGT Samuel E. Kelsey
yesterday.
I've been told, he died while trying to aid another soldier who had been wounded by an IED. There just happened to be another one.

If this is too much info or sensitive. Someone let me know.

That is so awful. I hate hearing news like this prayers to the family and to the other soldiers.
I made the mistake of looking up info about Justin's unit and found out that his unit loses more men than most other units. :(
I pray for their safety morning and night.

oh no.. that's so sad to hear. i'll definitely be praying for her and for his family. I can't imagine having to go through that

My heart and prayers go out to the families of those soldiers. I feel like it's so unfair. I don't understand why I got so luck as to have my DBF safe and out of that place and other women lose the ones they love. Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful that he's okay and I think God everyday for bringing him home to me. I just wish everyone could be so lucky. :sadeyes
