...you are at the shop christmas party and not only did you volunteer to be DD, but also get to hear "hey man when you leavin'?" by 300+ people while sober. And it isn't like he's going to start telling everyone "oh man, i'm gonna miss my wife so much." Naturally he has to be all manly and be like "yeah i'm psyched...."

:tears:tears:tears

inside i wanted to scream and break down into tears, but instead i pulled off the cool supportive wife. It was so hard to keep a calm face.:sadeyes

i almost think it is better that you were sober with all of that going on...alcohol = depressant...JMO

DF fought to go and almost didn't get cleared because of a medical issue...so it was tons of fun to support him and push to get him to be able to go :sarcasm

oh my gosh!! this EXACT thing happened with DB.. it was terrible and so hard to push aside my feelings, but no matter what that support is there 110%, it's just so hard.

and i hate it when we're out and we see people we know, everyone just asks so "nonchalant" about his deployment and he's the exact same way .. ohh i can't wait to go back. ughhhh i'm here if you need anything, :bigsadhug

Before DB left, everytime we were together it was like another person was asking about it. Then they would look at me with this face of oh man I'm so sorry and that sucks and then to just look at them with a sad smile. I got so sick of that face from people. It's not that I dont appreciate people, it's just so hard to hear other people talking about it all the time and thinking about it even more. It's so painful, I'm so sorry honey :bigsadhug
