I'm new to the site. Hubby is deploying in 3 weeks...first deployment. I swear, he's okay to learn everything the hard way... Noticed that someone posted about POA earlier...

He went to SRP last month and says he did a POA in my name. But...he didn't come home with anything. Is this normal? Frankly, I don't know much about POAs. I have a good idea about what they are, why they're important, and there are several different kinds. Since we're USAR, I'll be dealing with the civilian world primarily. Why are there 50 diff ones and which ones should we have???

if he didnt come home with anything he didnt get it, he needs to sign it and have 2 witnessess....get a durable POA before he leaves or you wont be able to do anything....
