Not my month with liquid things.

So, I was cooking something in our toaster oven, and I didn't think to move what was on top of the oven off. I mean, I had no idea the top got so hot - that's a little freaky.

So... Plastic like wrapper is now melted to the top of the toaster (metal) oven...

Help? Do I have any shot of getting it off?

:banghead I need to be smarter about this stuff. :sigh

just a scraper or a blade of some sort

Stick it in the freezer. The plastic will get hard and contract and should come off easier. If you scrape it with it on right now you're going to scrape the metal. If you freeze it first, it should pop off with a plastic knife, or something that won't scrape the metal.

Works great for getting chewing gum off clothes and other surfaces too!
