WTF is wrong with my body? I'm having a freakout/panic attack :tears :tears :tears :tears

I took a pg test a few nights ago and it was negative... my period is almost 4 days late so I took another one this morning to be sure... and it had a FAINT faint faint little positive line :sadeyes so I bought another one on my way to work and took it about an hour ago.... and it said negative??!! :tears

I don't know what to do :tears :tears :tears

I'm crampy and feel like I'm gonna start my period any minute.... but everything I read online said that any line, even faint should be considered positive? BUT THEN I TESTED NEGATIVE!!!!!!!! Do you think I just got a bad test or something??

We had unprotected sex the same day I started on the Nuvaring, the day after Thanksgiving.

The only way to be sure is a blood test. How faint was your positive?

Take more and more tests!

Try testing again first thing tomorrow morning and see what it says.

OMG HEIDI! Go get a blood test! Planned Parenthood! Tell them you took a few tests and you got both negative and very faint positives and they should give you a blood test.

Not to scare you but I was told that when you first start birthcontrol the first week (or month im not 100%) you should use backup protection.

I live at home too. I stash them away until I need them an until I can throw them away.
I have one wraped up in my box of tampons right now.

First off stop panicking. If you are pregnant its not good for you. There is nothing you can do right now. First thing in the morning call your local clinic. Make an appointment. Tell them you have tested and gotten both results. If you have a regular GYN call them. They will blood test you. Calm down! Take a bath and relax!

I FINALLY heard from DB. I told him everything that happened.... and he didn't freak out at all. I apologized for stressing him out.. and he said I have every right to be feeling the way I feel.... and that no matter what, it's gonna be ok.

We decided that I'm gonna test again in a few days and see how it turns up. :sigh

I feel so much better knowing he knows and is behind me 100%

I had something similar to that happen before and the outcome was not good. Turned out it was a "spontaneous abortion" and the faint positive was the last of the preg hormone, which was lessening every day. You should really go in just in case, there could be something serious going on Heidi. Take care of yourself! :hugs
