View Full Version : Serious problem and major TMI
Tiffany 12-16-2007, 09:59 PM So I was wondering if you can wax down under while preggo. I have tried to shave but since I have gotten bigger its a major problem. I look like I have mainge (sp) I have patches that I missed because I cant see and I cant lean over. I tried using a mirror kept getting foggy and I dont trust DH with a razor especially on the more delicate areas down there. Plus it takes forever shaving and I have HORRIBLE back pain now. I cant really do much for long periods of time before my back starts killing me. Any suggestions ? Sorry TMI :D
Mommy2Bailey 12-16-2007, 10:01 PM Oh wow you totally sound like me. I dont know about the waxing cause I have never done it but for a long time I was shaving down there by feel. And I would always miss! Tony used to call it little hitler cause I would always leave a little patch!

:rofl NAZI HOO-HA!
yeah I shave by feel too....I've never waxed and dont plan on it either (OUCH!)....I can live with the little patch for another couple of months.
But to answer ur question...there is no reason why u cant wax down there during pregnancy
Victoria 12-16-2007, 10:12 PM I dunno....but I definitely should've done that to try to give my labor a jump start!
well i was gonna suggest having your DH do it but since you dont trust him with a razor down there I dont know what else to suggest. My hubby always shaves me because he is better at doing that than I am and i cant see what im doing so I know I would mess it up LOL

He takes FOREVER too. I let him try one time and he was trying so hard to be careful but I was so worried he was going to cut me and I cant stand there that long. :)
Lefty80 12-16-2007, 10:38 PM Yep I gave up after awhile too!
dannysgirl004 12-16-2007, 10:57 PM Yes you can wax while preggo! My best friend always got waxed and never stopped just because she was pregnant. I just have my DH do it for me it is much easier.

I still trim even if it's really hard to do. I can't stand to not to.
This might sound weird, but it's what works for me being so pregnant. I take a mirror that can be angled & has a stand and put it on the bathroom floor. I then kneel in front (yes it sucks to kneel, but you can deal w/ it for 5 min or so) and angle the mirror to where I can see everything. I take the trimmer then and start trimming away. I don't actually shave, shave, but I do trim everything. Works for me. (yeah there's a little mess, but it's the easiest way I've found to do it)
thelinks99 12-17-2007, 06:59 AM I've heard that waxing while your preggo hurts more than usual.??

Thanks for posting that very cute story. Kinda scary. Not sure if I am up for waxing or not.
I may just have a Nazi whoha and be done with it. :lol
