in January. :( 3 days before our first anniversary. This will be our first deployment. Good thing is his brigade has already been over there for a while so he'll only have to be gone 6 months, instead of 15. But, still. We just moved up to Ft. Lewis last week and already moved into our apartment. Now, we're going to have to move right out again, since I guess I'll be going back home while he's gone. pooh.

My DH deployed a few days before my birthday...(by the way your actually date breaks OPSEC rules So you might want to change it) anyways we had only been at our apartment 5 months and moved out and he will be gone for our one year also...its in april he returns home in may! Stay strong.

DH deployed right after my birthday so he took me out to eat the weekend before :( And he got home from AIT right after our dating anniversary :( And is getting back right after our real anniversary :( But, he's coming back so :D I think I've come to accept it and now if I do actually get to spend a special day with him eventually it will just be a bonus :D

Sorry to hear that.Just think of it this way..you got lucky that he didnt have to spend the whole 15 months over there with the rest of the brigade eventhough he will be missing your anniversary.

It's so hard to think about all the celebrations you will miss out on together. I would just make sure those care packagaes are even more special for those occassions. Justin was also at Fort Lewis and his unit left months before he got there. I'm so thankful he doesn't have to stay out there the whole time either. I am sorry to hear he is leaving thank him for me for his service My DH leaves 1 day before our anniversary 1 day we have missed the last 3 but hey thats the price we pay Let us know what we can do to get you through thats what we are here for!!!!

Yea my boyfriend left today and we did the whole christmas thing for him but the hard part is going to to be when i go downstairs for christmas he wont be there... but everything will be ok.. PM me if you ever need to talk abotu anything.. thank him for me.. he is a very brave man.. hope all works out for you
