Hi ladies and gents,
I'd like to inform you of a new thread tags feature we have not. Under each post, you'll see a small group of words, which are called "Tags". For those of you who are not familiar with tags, they are usually 1 or 2 words descriptions of your post. For instance, each daily fashion post would probably have a tag for "fashion, daily,celebrity". Each word is usually separated by a comma, but you could occasionally use a two word description such as "daily fashion".
The object of tags is to make posts easily searchable by interest. If I'm interesting in meal ideas, I could go to the tags cloud located here http://militarysos.com/forum/tags.php and click on the word dinner or food, which will bring all topics up that are tagged with these words.
When you start a thread, you can add up to 5 tags, and you can add up to 2 tags to other people's posts. Please only add tags that you feel are absolutely relevant to the post, and you don't have to add all 5 tags if you only need to use 1 or 2 tags.
I will add a link in our navigation that will take you to the tag cloud, and you can also click on the word "tags" below each thread.
