The ultimate craving!
Whats you fav recipe?
I made up my own.
First you take the wings and clean them and fold the tips behind.
Season them with flour salt or whatever floats your boat.
Then you bake them or fry them, depending on your palate...my dh likes the baked, but my mom loves them fried!
The sauce is the special secret part:
take you fav hot sauce ( I would not suggest Tabasco!). mine are Frank's and Louisiana. Put a bit in a bowl.
then squeeze about half a lemon in the sauce.
pour a little maple syrup (reg works too) in.
Taste.
Then keep adding hot sauce or syrup until it tastes good to you. Remember the more hot sauce you add the more the pepper taste goes up, so pace yourself! Adding more lemon can fix the strong peppery taste if you feel like you did too much...
Toss the wings in the sauce and serve.
This is my fav recipe, you can make it sweet for people who hate spicy foods. I haven't gotten heart burn or indigestion with this method. Plus it's nice to not have to add butter to everything. Kinda economical. :hehe
