I use this as a base recipe and then go from there Enjoy!!
Vegetable Oil for Frying
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup Crystal Louisiana Hot sauce or Frank's red hot Cayenne Sauce
Dash Ground Pepper
Dash Garlic Powder
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp salt
10 chicken wing pieces
1. Heat Oil in a deep fryer to 375. You want just enough oil to cover the wings entirely- an inch or so
2. combine the butter, hot sauce, grnd pepper, and garlic powder in a small sauce pan. Heat till butter is melted
3. Combine the flour, paprika, cayenne, and salt in a smallish bowl
4. Put the wings in a large bowls and sprinkle the flour mixture over them coating each wing evenly. put in fridge for 60-90 min. ( very important make sure to do this step and make sure the wings aren't frozen defrosted wings only)
5. put all the wings into the hot oil and fry for 10-15 min or until some parts are dark brown and they are done.
6. Drain the wings for a min then quickly put them in with the hot sauce mixture. using a lidded tupperware works great because you can shake them up and coat them well.
** you might want to do step 4 first. that way while you are setting everything up they will be ready when you are ready.
