I have a flat screen 50 some odd inch tv. What is the best way to get fingerprints off of it???

Don't use windex, or rubbing alcohol or any kind of glass cleaner. That's alls I know.

I was thinking a soft towel and a tiny bit of water....!??!?!?!?

is it an LCD or plasma?? you can get special LCD cleaners at the store for them.

I was told to use a VERY soft cloth that is BARELY damp (can squeeze NO water from it) and use just water...

cleaning solvents can break down the surface of the screen and paper towels or washcloths can scratch it.

microfiber is a good cloth for stuff like that. :yes

they sell wipes for our kind of tvs. We bought ours at walmart. We have a 53" DLP tv that we have to use those special wipes on. I wouldn't chance it and just got buy some to be safe.

if anything pick up a microfiber cloth. It is very good at getting oils off things like that. It works pretty good on mine with a teeny amount of water then i buff it with a try side.

we also havea flatscreen. i use handcleaner from AutoZone on it to clean the crayon off it and it works great!

They make special cleaner for those kind of TV...You could use a lens cloth that is slightly damp(not sopping wet) and rub gently...Good luck
