My arms have been itching like crazy the past 2 weeks. Even when I get out of the shower, slather them up w/ lotion, and put a tank top on- their still itchy. So I don't think it's my laundry detergent...and while it could be b/c of the cold weather, I just have a feeling it's from the pregnancy. Normally when my skin is dry and I put lotion on it it, it's fine. Nothing else itches but my arms (and sometimes stomach).
I have pretty much red arms from itching so much. Driving me nuts!
I also washed the clothes I have for him so far, today. It's so crazy still to me that we're not only about to have a boy but another little baby :) It made me sad though as some of her sleepers (that are neutral colors) we are using for him and all of her little white socks that she had, so it made me sad that she was that tiny once :( They just grow up way too fast :sigh
I started getting my bag ready...I'm going to finish it once I'm about 37 weeks. I'm just not that paranoid about going early, I guess. Hopefully that won't be a bad thing :P

Try some body wash with oatmeal in it. Kevin was itching because of dry skin and he said that it is working to get rid of the itch...

I've been itchin a lot too and I'm now using Johnson and Johnson baby body cream. I seems to be helping.

I have switched a few times and nothing helps...I really just think it's from the pregnancy :shrug I'll have to look for that though...

Or how about increasing your water intake?
Have you tried taking dye-free Benadryl?!
No...I hate swallowing pills though, so I'd just rather complain and tough it out :lmao
Benadryl only comes in pill form, right?

I think you can get Benadryl in liquid form. Actually, I'm almost sure of it.

I had this when I was pregnant with my oldest ds. It was the absolute worst part of my pregnancy!!!!! Thankfully, like the article said, it only happened during the one pregnancy and didn't show up during my other two.
Baking soda and oatmeal baths helped me a bit.
well I am not pregnant and I dont have dry skin but I have also been itchy alot for the past few weeks which I thought was due to either a new medicine i was taking or the dryer sheets because we switched them, but I dont think its the dryer sheets and I have stopped taking the medicine i thought it might have been but my itching hasnt been as bad as it was, but i do notice that when I perspire or sweat and then cool down I can get really itchy. So I have no idea of what that could be from.
Rach I hope you can find some relief soon. I know how you feel.
