Still so lost! How do you use a webcam (not the stuff I can read in the user manual)? What is MyPay and how do we set it up?

AND aaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh....the POA thing isn't settled. We had a private lawyer draw one up for us that we're supposed to go sign tomorrow. He said that it's a very simple, general POA. Some people have told us that general isn't specific enough and we need it to be more detailed for things like filing taxes and rental leases and such. Others are telling us that "general" is the most effective because it's so broad. Could someone have some mercy on me and explain in detail, using education or experience, what is correct?????

Hi there, I just talked to DH about the POA we have. He said it is a general one and covers everything - taxes, property, funds, etc.
I hope that helps! I know there is a lot to do to get ready for deployment and it gets overwhelming.
PM me anytime, I may not have answers, but I'll always listen!!

I'd have navy legal look it over. You have resources, use 'em girl! They might also be able to help with the MyPay thing.

again, thanks! my cousin turns out to be army JAG and answered a lot of my questions...honestly, this website is one of my resources. DH is deploying with a diff unit than his usual and is playin' telephone with his SGT just to get travel orders and such! This stuff is the furthest thing from their minds and his local unit doesn't have much of a FRG.:dunno

I was always told to get a General & a Special POA. We have both, that way we don't have to worry about me not being able to do something when he's gone.
