Hi guys, I'm new here...I'm 17 years old. My boyfriend, 18, is leaving for Navy bootcamp on April 22nd. I'm already a mess and it's hitting me hard right now...I really need someone to talk to, someone who understands. We have been together for 14 months as of now and he wants to make it work when he's gone. Of course, I do too but I don't really know what I'm up against and I don't know if I can get through it. I can't even begin to imagine that I won't be talking to him everyday or getting my goodnight phone calls...I really need someone to talk to, so please PM me or something...thank you.

Best of Luck to you and your boyfriend. However, I believe there is an age minimum of 18 on the board. That might be why you're not getting answers.

I think she's right?! Age requirement I believe also is 18.

this is a website for support... and she 17 and hurting and going to live the same life you are all living. how would you like if someone turned you away? i would understand if she was 15 or something.. but she is 17. nearly 18 so come on and please lend a helping hand... you girls were all in her shoes at one point. men go into the military at 17, which means they can leave a 17 years younger girlfriends... please show some support.

PM me if you ever need anything = )

I only mentioned it because a few months back we had the situation with their own forum and then erased that and put the limits back on. The reason isn't that we don't believe they're hurting to, but the liabilities for the Admins to have girls that are under age on here with some of the things we say.
