The marines weren't with the Truman group, but still in the 5th fleet. They beat up a taxi driver in Dubai REALLY badly over the taxi drivers "political views". Ya think....you mean a person of Middle Eastern descent has different "political views" than a person of American descent? Ya' don't say. Morons. Omg that's awful!! I can't believe they did that...how crappy and you know alot of them were excited to go do seomthing sheeesh! Maybe on the way home? I think they are hitting there on the way back but I don't really know!

dh said they will probably go there a couple more times. I think they are going there again "really soon".

Dh went out on the Sunset Safari tour and got to surf in the sand :giggle One of there tour jeeps got stuck in the sand and overheated.

He got some really neat pictures from it too.

He liked it. I really had to push him into going out a doing something. It was his 3rd cruise and he would never go anywhere!!

I LOVE Dubai! I visited SO there this past September on a scheduled port visit. It was the most amazing place/thing I've ever done!!!!!! We did the whole Desert Safari thing and rode camels, drove through the sand dunes, and had this awesome, authentic Arabic dinner. Great place!!!!!

Yea, that part was a HUGE risk!!! They actually ended up leaving a day earlier, so I had to change my ticket. Although, it all worked out beautifully :)
