Anyone have an SO who has deployed with the 2,500 Ohio Army National Gaurdsmen right now. My SO is now at Fort Hood for training, and I know that is where they are all headed, and in march they will be going to Iraq. Anyone interested in forming a support group please post here ;)

My guy is ohio national guard but he just got over to afghanistan.

me and my DB are both from ohio...he was stationed in georgia before he left for iraq though

You are right. They are all replacing my hubby's unit in Iraq. If you ladies want any info about it over there, just pm me!

my so is also in fort hood and leaving for iraq in april, First deployment for me and third for him. I am beside myself missing him not sure how to cope.

My hubbie is deployed with the Ohio National Guard. He is at North Fort Hood, Texas now and leaves for Iraq/Kuwait on March 27th. This is our first deployment, so it has been stressful, but we are getting through it ok. Are there others from this group posting on this board?

i live in Batesville, AR and the national guard unit here just left a few weeks ago for training they didn't go to Ft. Hood for training, they went somewhere in Missouri and are headed out in a few months, im not sure about the rest of the state though?

If any of you Ohio ladies need anything I'm here. I'm just a hop skip and a jump from Dayton or Columbus.

I'm an Ohio gal & my hubby is in the PA ARNG..Along with the Ohio Guards..There are quite a few of the PA units deploying too..Like all the other gals before me, I will support everyone as well..I too am only a short time away from Columbus, Zanesville, Newark, etc..God bless each & everyone of you gals! :hug

Mine is also at N. Ft. Hood. Right now he is in the DOG HOUSE in a big way and frankly, I'm ready to throw in the towel. I have never loved anyone the way I love him and didn't even know that this was possible, and he has spit in my face. Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, but yes, mine is there and headed to the same place.

For us Ohio National Gaurd gals (or anyone in the Columbus or surrounding areas interested) Start listing some dates within March/April that would work for you ladies as a get together. I look forward to meeting all of you in person :D
