dh and i are making appts for the eye doctor. i know i have to pay out of pocket for my glasses and contacts but is that just for the frames or the frames and lenses?

Frames and lenses come out of your pocket

Tricare wont give you a contact eye exam, all of that comes out of your pocket...I got nice frames and such at the exchange here...Good luck!

Tricare will only pay for the exam to see what prescription you need. Everything else is out of pocket which includes frames, lenses, contacts and the contact fitting. Good luck.
