I am about to go through my 3rd deployment with my husband, he is leaving soon and I was just looking for other wives to talk to. It helps pass the time.

The Melting Pot is sooooo good, but sooooo expensive! We had an extra $18 added to the tab for the Anniversary package and with tip, our bill for 2 people was $150. :shock
I'd love to get together at some point. My Husband comes home this week though! :bliss So I can make it providing it's the later part of the month. :D

Is this like VA Beach virginia or DC MD NOVA virginia??? I have an idea if anyone is near Arlington (outside DC)...The Rhodeside Grill in Arlington has a bloody Mary Brunch on Sundays. It has a make your own bloody Mary bar and an omlet station and waffle station and then a brunch menu too. Its not super cheap but its not outrageous. Anyone want to go this Sunday?

Maybe it just depends on what you order...we had one of the meal things, their "special" or whatever it was, with the bread/cheese, meats/veggies and the the fruit/chocolate.

I thought the group was Hampton Roads ladies, but excluding people is not the SOS way...Traci, what say ye?
The Melting Pot sounds interesting but expensive....

No one was ever excluded. Back in November a few of us going through this deployment got a small group together. We spent Thanksgiving together including those who did not have anyone deployed. As the title says..and anyone else.:wink We take all kinds.
