Well, so much for the hope of Chris being potty trained soon. He did it for 3 days and now for the past 2, he will potty when he gets up in the morning and the rest of day, "i already did!!" Even with underwear on, he will just pee his pants and then get all pissy like I did it to him. UUUUGGGGHHHH Dear God, I cant do another child not being potty trained till 4.5 years old:arg

Oh man.. We've had some trouble getting DD to actually poop on the potty. How about taking him once every couple hours and not letting him out until he pees in the toilet? Stickers and lollipops are working for DD now.. everytime she poops in the toilet she gets a dum dum pop, a big hi five, and tons of praise.. I just realized how close Cam and Chris are age wise.. :duh.. I think we even talked about that at starbucks..

WOW.. he's stubborn just like Cam. Her fav. excuse is: "My panties are dry! I don't need to go." :arg It took a while for her to understand that the goal is to keep them dry.

What about collecting points (for each time he goes, and subtracting for when he has an accident) for something cool.. like a small toy from walmart, or a trip to the zoo or mcd's or something..

One of my best friends little boy was the same way.. Potty training didn't even interest him (they tried the go 10 times on the potty, get a toy at walmart thing.. he'd go 10 times to get the toy and then blow it off.) until his 4th birthday.. then it was all his idea. She said he's only had a couple accidents, and even pees standing up now. It had to be his way.. which I know completely flabbergasted her, but he's doing great with it now.

i had that problem with my niece! Sometimes they have to take a few steps back in order to take a step forward. Make it exciting for him and start a "potty chart" go to Word and make a grid, then tell him every time he goes he gets a sticker, one for peeing two for pooping and tell him that if he fills his chart he gets a toy. My niece was potty trained within 3 days few accidents here and there but all in all potty trained. best of luck! :hugehug

I completely forgot, Chuck E. Cheese has a potty chart you can print off.. if they go accident free for 2 weeks, they get 10 free game tokens.. I'm gonna have DH print one off for DD soon. They have a ton of other good ones too! Chuck E. Cheese is a big treat for DD... http://www.chuckecheese.com/promotions/rewards-calendars.php

Yikes. I got lucky with Ray.
HOPEFULLY Grayce will be the same, I want her out of diapers by 2½.

I was lucky with Savannah. She potty trained herself not long after Gabe was born. Gabe, I just let him be and never really mentioned it to him. He was in and out of the hosp so much, it was just easier to have him still in diapers than having a cath put in him all the time. Chris :sigh
